Sibling Fee Discount
Families growing together.
We recognise that many of our families choose GEMS School of Research and Innovation for more than one child. For families with three or more children enrolled, sibling fee discounts are available as outlined below.
- 3rd sibling 10%
- 4th sibling 15%
- 5th sibling 20%
Sibling discounts are applied in accordance with the school’s fee policy.
Required by law
Transfer Certificates and Withdrawals.
Parents wishing to transfer their child to another school or withdraw from the school must submit a formal Transfer Certificate (TC) or withdrawal request. In accordance with KHDA regulatory requirements, fee calculations are based on the date the formal withdrawal request is submitted rather than the student's last day of attendance. Where a future withdrawal date has been agreed and the student continues attending school, the applicable leaving date will be used for fee calculation purposes based on KHDA’s approved fee refund and prorate billing policy.
The Parents must give written notice to the Registrar of any withdrawal. The Registration Deposit is refundable if notice is provided at least sixty (60) calendar days before the year starts and non-refundable if less than sixty (60) calendar days’ notice is provided. School fees will be refunded in accordance with the applicable KHDA Registration and Refund Policy, available at: KHDA_Parent_Guide_School_ENG
