Foundations for GCSE and beyond.

Seniors carries every child from Year 7 through to Year 9, building on the foundations of Prep as learning becomes more specialised toward the demands of GCSE study. Year 7 lays down strong foundations in English, Maths and Science alongside Humanities, Languages, Arabic and Islamic Education. Year 8 builds toward GCSE pathways with research-informed teaching and real-world context from university and industry partnerships. By Year 9, GCSE preparations begin for our students.

Digital fluency and innovation run through every year. Year 7 students build coding, AI literacy, data skills and responsible digital citizenship alongside STEM, robotics and esports. Year 8 students deepen this fluency, applying AI tools with increasing sophistication and growing critical literacy. By Year 9, students use AI tools with confidence across every subject, applying technology to research, analysis and creative problem-solving at a level that prepares them for GCSE coursework and controlled assessments.

Agency that grows into leadership.

Character, wellbeing and student agency mature into greater responsibility. Year 7 and Year 8 students are supported through dedicated wellbeing programmes, mentorship and growing leadership opportunities, building year on year in independence. By Year 9, students take on significant leadership roles, developing the resilience, self-regulation and personal organisation essential for GCSE success, guided by dedicated pastoral teams and counsellors.

From Year 7, students engage with real-world problems through the Pioneer Curriculum and the GEMS Global Innovation Challenge, aligned with Dubai’s Vision 2040 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This deepens with growing sophistication through Year 8, and by Year 9, students lead as active contributors to their communities, tackling real-world problems.
