Leadership at SRI starts with the House system. Every student and staff member belongs to a House; four in Junior School and four in Senior School, each rooted in UAE heritage and shaped by student voice.

Each house carries its own colour identity, giving every student a clear sense of belonging from Foundation Stage through to Year 9. Houses compete throughout the year, earning points through events built around teamwork, participation and collective achievement. Each House champions its own conservation cause, building a lifelong commitment to environmental responsibility, philanthropy and service.

Beyond the House system, student leadership is embedded throughout school life through a comprehensive structure of House Captains and Vice Captains, Head Boy and Head Girl, Student Council Representatives, Innovation, Sport, CAPA and Global Awareness Ambassadors, alongside Reading, Wellbeing and Sustainability Champions.
